Kayseria Master Silk Winter Collection 2014-15

Kayseria Clothing has launched new range of silk dresses with wool shawls in it’s Winter Collection 2014-15 for women and girls. This Master collection is a tribute to the British textile artist Harry Wearne. Several prints in the collection are based on his work from the 19th century, presenting a unique fusion of Eastern and Western traditions. The Master’s Collection aims to pay homage to different artists by combining their work with the aesthetics of Kayseria to create unique high street pieces.

The Winter 2014 collection further includes tribal-themed pieces based on the historic Silk Route and Moroccan traditions. More contemporary designs have been inspired by Hermes prints. The color palette is based on the seasonal forecast and uses a rich indigo influence to make the collection more versatile for all age groups. Each of the 90 designs in the collection is available in 2 color variations.

Along with the variety of colors, Winter 2014 also presents a wide array of fabric with new materials such as Wool, silk wool, twill wool , wool herring bone, silk wool herring bone and 100 % pure wool check featuring prominently. Other fabrics include Cambric, Khaddar, Cotton Satin, Cotton and Bamboo Modal and Lyocell. With the range of fabric and colors showcased by Winter 14, as well as the launch of the Master’s Collection, this is one of the most unique collections by Kayseria so far. Incorporating silk and cotton thread embroideries using the intricate multihead and Shiftli techniques to create surface on fabric, the signature style of Kayseria is maintained.
