Lahori Trader lower price of fruits to celebrate Pakistan’s victory
Lahore Singhpura: A trader celebrated Pakistan’s victory in the quarter finals by lowering the price of fruits. In the fruit and vegetable market in Singhpura, Lahore, a trader lowered the prices of fruits and vegetables by five rupees per kilo.
The trader said that the drop in prices is to celebrate Pakistan’s victory in the World Cup quarter finals against West Indies. The said he lowered the price so other people can also celebrate the victory.
He also said that if Pakistan faces India in the semi-finals and beats them to reach the World Cup final; he will lower the prices by at least 20 rupees per kilo, even if he has to sell the fruits and vegetable to the people with no profit.
