No free ride in metro buses from Monday, February 18, 2013

Punjab government accepts people’s demand; decides to charge nominal fare to facilitate ‘real commuters’

Lahore (Friday, February 15, 2013) – Punjab Metrobus Authority, Government of Punjab has decided to charge fare from people using metro buses from February 18 (Monday).

List of metrobus stations:

Shahdara, Niazi Chowk, Timber Market, Azadi Chowk, Bhatti Chowk, Katchery, Civil Secretariat, MAO College, Janazgah, Qartaba Chowk, Shama, Ichra, Canal, Qaddafi Stadium, Kalma Chowk, Model Town, Naseerabad, Ittefaq Hospital, Qainchi, Ghazi Chowk, Chungi Amar Sidhu, Kamahan, Atari Saroba, Nishtar Colony, Youhanabad, Dulu Khurd,  Gajjumata

Metro Bus Lahore Ticket Rs 20 only

Flat fare of metro bus service has been fixed at Rs 20 from Gajju Matta to Shahdara.

This was decided at a meeting of the Punjab Metro Bus Authority Steering Committee, presided over by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, at Model Town Lahore.
