Pak Tea House Lahore Re-Opened by Nawaz Sharif PML-N President
Lahore Pak Tea House is renovated by Punjab Government after 13 years of closure
Lahore (Friday, March 8, 2013) – On Friday, a ‘baithak’ has been reopened after renovation by District government Lahore, Government of Punjab.
It was closed almost thirteen years ago due to financial crises of its owner. Later he made it Tyre shop.
Pak Tea House is located on famous The Mall Road Lahore.
Ex. Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the cafe along with large number of poets, writers and intellectuals.
Nawaz Sharf termed that Pak Tea House is not less important than a Metro Bus Project in Lahore. He also promised to make visits in future.
Pak Tea cafe was famous in poets like Faiz Ahmad Faiz, Ibn Ansha, Ahmad Faraz, Manto, Munir Nayazi, Meera, Nasir Qazmi.
