The end of the Pakistan-India match took an ugly turn as enraged Indian players attacked the Pakistan team, who leveled the match by scoring a goal in the last minute in the Tri-Series in Busselton on Friday. The hockey ground of Busselton turned into battle field when Gurbaj Singh had a fight with Pakistani players near the penalty corner and the fight grew grave to the extent of physical violence.
The incident forced the match to be stopped for about half-an-hour. Even though the two teams returned to the turf later, they agreed not to resume the match. Three Indian players Chandi, Gurbaj Singh, skipper Tushar along with Indian coach Yograj Singh and Pakistan captain Shakeel Abbasi are banned for some matches.
