PML-N ‘Go Zardari Go’ campaign today (Oct 19, 2011) From DG Khan
RAWALPINDI (Wednesday, October 19, 2011) : Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) has announced the start of the ‘Go Zardari Go’ campaign from today (Wednesday).
An announcement to this effect was made by PML-N leader and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Ch Nisar Ali Khan while addressing a party gathering in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, reported a private TV channel.
Nisar said the campaign would start from DG Khan. He also exhorted the people to support the PML-N, saying that the current PPP was not the PPP of the Bhuttos, “it is PPP of the Zardaris.”
On the other hand, the PPP leaders say that the PML-N has started the politics of confrontation for point-scoring ahead of the Senate elections. PPP Sindh leader Sharjeel Memon has said that Nawaz League should confine his preaching to the Punjab.
DERA GHAZI KHAN: After almost 15 years, PML-N chief Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will address a public gathering at College Ground here on Wednesday.
He is likely to announce a movement against the government during his address. Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif had announced Nawaz’s public address during his visit here on October 9. Nawaz Sharif had previously addressed a public gathering at Pakistani Chowk in January 1997. Political analysts believe that through the public address, Nawaz wants to show that Southern Punjab is a citadel of the PML-N.
