Nawaz Sharif to address first Go Gilani Go rally today in Taxila
Rawalpindi / Islamabad (May 5, 2012) – PML-N President Nawaz Sharif will address the first anti-government rally in Taxila today (Saturday).
The PML-N had announced a long march in support of judiciary and to exert pressure on Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to quit after the verdict of the Supreme Court in contempt of court case.
The PML-N will hold various protest rallies and gatherings in the Punjab and Sindh, including Taxila, Hafizabad, Jacobabad, Ratto Dero and Shikarpur, till the mid of May.According to a statement on Friday, the first protest gathering would be held at Taxila on Saturday (today).
Besides, different organisations of the PML-N were also arranging protest rallies in different areas in accordance with the decision of the PML-N Central Working Committee meeting. The CEC had decided that they would continue their protest until implementation of the Supreme Court decision.
