Who will win Masroor Nawaz Jhangvi or Azad Nasir Ansari in PP-78 By election?
Jhang (Political analysis / Tuesday, November 29, 2016) – One day has been left in the polling of By election in Punjab Assembly constituency PP-78 Jhang. Today is last day of election campaign. All Candidates will terminate their election rallies, corners meetings and other election activities like convincing at mid night of 00:00. While there are number of candidates in run, but real contest is being expected between two main candidates of Maulana Qari Masroor Nawaz Jhangvi (Independent)backed of Ehle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (Haqnawaz Jhangvi Group) and Haji Azad Nasir Ansari candidate of ruling Pakistan Muslim League (N).
The election symbol of Masroor Nawaz Jhangvi is Hen (Murghi), While Azad Nasir Ansari has election symbol of Tiger (Sher). Candidate of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Mr. Shaikh Mian Arfa Majeed and Pakistan Peoples party Haji Sarfaraz Ahmad Rabbani. JUI-F’s candidate Shahbaz Ahmed Gujjar has withdrawn in support of Masroor Jhangvi.
Masrror Nawaz Jhangvi is son of late Maulana Haq nawaz Jhangvi. Haq Nawaz Jhangvi was a Pakistani Sunni Scholar who founded an organization Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) in the 1980s. Haq Nawaz born in 1952 in Chaila, a village in the Jhang District of Punjab, Pakistan. He died on February 22, 1990 in a firing incident.
Who will this election? Both Haji Azad Nasir and Masroor Nawaz Jhangvi has strong base of supporters. But the candidate will whose workers will dominate on the polling day activities.
There is fifty/fifty (50/50) chance of winning this seat for Jhangvi and Ansari.
A three member bench of the Lahore High Court on Monday Nov 28 provisionally allowed Maulana Ahmed Ludhianvi to contest by-elections from PP-78, Jhang which is scheduled to be held on December 1, 2016.
