BISE Lahore Matriculation position holders announced

Sarmad Waqar, Nashka Zulfiqar share first position by securing 1021 marks

Lahore (July 24, 2012) –  Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, announced the position holders of this year matriculation (Secondary School Certificate) examinations, at a ceremony held at the Children Library Complex on Tuesday.

BISE Chairman Muhammad Nasarullah Virk, Controller Anwer Farooq, Secretary Dr Abdul Razaq Shahid and other officials of the board were present on the occasion.

According the chairman BISE Lahore :-

First position was grabbed by two students –

Muhammad Sarmad Waqar, a student of Beaconhouse School for Boys, Canal Side Campus Lahore, who belongs to Raiwind and

Nashka Zulfiqar, a student of Fauji Foundation Model High School for Girls, Sangla Hill, Nankana. Both the students secured 1021 marks.

Second position was taken by Arsalan Tariq, a student of the Government Central Model School, Lower Mall, Lahore, by getting 1020 marks.

Third position was bagged by Sadaf Sarfraz, a student of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School for Girls, Shadman Lahore, with 1019 marks.

In Science Group (Boys), Muhammad Sarmad Waqar took 1st position with 1021 marks. Arsalan Tariq, a student of Government Central Model School Lower Mall Lahore took second position by taking 1020 marks; and Muhammad Talha Riaz, a student of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School for Boys Shadman Lahore stood third by getting 1018 marks.

In Science Group (Girls), the first position was grabbed by Nashka Zulfiqar by securing 1021 marks; Sadaf Sarfraz, a student of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School for Girls, secured second position by getting 1019 marks; whereas the third position was secured by Khaula Tariq, a student of the Divisional Public Higher Secondary School for Girls at Model Town Lahore, by getting 1018 marks.

In Humanities Group (Boys), Muhammad Aaqib Naseer and Hafiz Muhammad Usama Iqbal of the Allama Iqbal Public Boys High School, Raiwind Road, Kasur, grabbed the first and second positions by securing 978 and 966 marks, respectively; whereas Hafiz Adeel Ashraf, a private student from Kasur, secured third position by getting 956 marks.

In Humanities Group (Girls), the first position was secured by Ayesha Aslam of the Government Model Girls High School, Okara, by getting 970 marks, second position was grabbed by Aamina Siddique of the Farooqi Girls High School, Karim Park, Lahore, who got 964 marks; and Arooj Nasir of the City District Government Girls High School, Multan Road, Lahore, grabbed the third position by getting 960 marks. Addressing the ceremony, the chairman said that unlike last year, this year he and his team are proud to announce the “Zero RL” results.
