The tail-enders couldn’t save Bangladesh from sinking and their hope to lift the Asia cup was buried by Pakistan on the last bowl of the match. In the last over, Bangladesh needed 9 runs of which it could only score 6. That means Pakistan won the match and became the Asia cup champion for the second time.
