PCB Allowed Players To Play Big Bash

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal and Saeed Ajmal to participate in Australia’s Big Bash Twenty20 League after denying them permission earlier citing domestic commitments and the tour to India.

The PCB has granted Saeed Ajmal, Shahid Afridi and Umar Akmal permission to play a few games at this season’s Big Bash League (BBL), on the request of Cricket Australia.

Shahid Afridi ended his contract with Sydney Thunders despite Pakistan Cricket Board’s NOC to play Big Bash 2012. Reason behind Afridi’s decision is to play Domestic Cricket in Pakistan and regain his form and match fitness.
