The top ranked Quetta Gladiators try to keep on winning ways in their next match of PSL against Multan Sultans on Wednesday. After two days rest both the teams will travel to Sharjah to resume the tournament.
Quetta Gladiators is on top of the chart as they get back to back victories in first two matches of PSL. In their first match they defeat Peshawar Zalmi with six wickets in hand. While playing 1st, Peshawar set the target of 156, which is easily chased down as Umar Akmal played an unbeaten innings of 75.
While in their next match they beat Islamabad United by 7 wickets. Batting first, Islamabad United scored 157 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Quetta Gladiators chased the target in 18.2 over with a score of 161 runs for the loss of 3 wicket.
On the other hand Multan Sultans are at third position in points table as they played two matches and get only one victory. In their first match they have beaten by Karachi Kings by seven runs. Sultans were restricted to 176-9 in their allotted 20 over’s, a difficult target of 184 runs to chase.
Then Multan Sultans made a remarkable comeback and defeated Islamabad United by five wickets in the fourth match of PSL. Chasing the low score 125, Skipper Malik (31) and and all-rounder Shahid Afridi (16) wrapped the match in 19th over.
