A famous Poetess Parveen Shakir was born on 24th November, 1952 in Karachi, Pakistan. She was highly educated with two masters degrees, one in English literature and one in linguistics. She also held a Ph.D and another masters degree in Bank Administration.

Faiz Ahmed Faiz (1911–1984) was a renowned Pakistani poet, and one of the most famous poets of the Urdu language. He was a member of the Anjuman Tarraqi Pasand Mussanafin-e-Hind (All India Progressive Writers’ Movement) and an avowed Marxist. In 1962, he was awarded the Lenin Peace Prize by the Soviet Union

Thinker of Pakistan, Allama Dr. Sir Muhammad Iqbal born on November 9, 1877 in Sialkot and died on April 21, 1938, in Lahore. He was a Persian and Urdu language poet, philosopher and politician. He is commonly referred to as Allama Iqbal , Allama meaning “Scholar”.
