Telenor Talkshawk I-Champ is a nationwide project that aims to provide learning and training to young people to enable them to become future proponents in the Digital Age. In the first phase, internet workshops will be held in schools located in the semi-urban areas of Pakistan starting in Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
An MoU between Telenor Pakistan and Government of AJK regarding the holding of workshops in schools was signed by Aamer Izhar, Vice President Corporate Affairs & Security, Telenor Pakistan and Muhammad Sadiq Dar, Secretary Education, Government of AJK in the presence of senior officials.
Competitions will be held in select schools as part of the Telenor Talkshawk I-Champ project. Finalists of these competitions will get to visit Opera Labs in Norway to learn more about how the internet is being used by people around the world to gain and spread knowledge.
