In District Swat, kalam is a tehsil Head Quarter. It route is from Mangora to Khwaza Khela, Madyan, Behrain and then Kalam. In kalam their Hunders of Tourist Resorts, and Hotel.

It is known for its waterfalls, lakes, lush green hills and other gifts bestowed upon it by the nature and is only 270 km drive from Islamabad, the Capital of Pakistan. Kalam Valley is a popular destination for tourists.

The Kalam valley is a valley in the upper reaches of the Swat River in Swat, in the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) of Pakistan.

I like the sawat valley , special kalam area. This area is very beautiful i was visited August 12 , 2003. those time the hundred people visited in this area. Now i want know about the circumstance of Sawat Valley
