Shahbaz Sharif Ujala Program – Solar Home system for Students
Lahore (Sunday, January 27, 2013) – In the year 2011, Shahbaz Sharif chief minister Punjab introduced a revolutionary scheme of “Laptops for students” Now another fantastic project is being launched for the students of college and high school level.
Solar systems to be distributed among students = 2 Lac
Cost of solar system panels = 2.5 billions
Youth and students have always been the CM’s priority. Due to excessive and discriminatory load-shedding in Punjab by those in Islamabad, Ujala scheme has been introduced to provide solar powered lamps to brilliant students.
Solar technology at such a mass level has never been introduced in Pakistan before.

my son got 95 % marks in class 9th exams 2013 from lahore board from american lycetuff.can he apply for solar lamp at his own.kindly tell me the procedure.as the school did not inform about any form.pl reply me
