Pakistani legendary cricketer Javed Miandad suggest that Pakistan Super League (PSL) should be held in Pakistan, the contest in the country can attract a lot of foreign players in future, once it is leashed.

Responding to a recent statement issued by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi that all the ground work has been done for the PSL and it will be launched in January next year in the UAE, Miandad said: “The PSL should be played in Pakistan as it is our own league. To stage it in the UAE will not end the country’s drought of international cricket.
At least the PCB should take the initiative and see how it goes in Pakistan. I am sure once the league starts it will attract a lot of foreign players, retired or domestic, the 124-Test veteran pointed out.
Miandad, who functioned as PCB director general in the past, added: “We can put our domestic players together with the national team players in the PSL which will boost the [domestic] players morale and self-belief to tackle opponents of higher standard.
