Swat Summer Festival/Gala Started in Kalam and Mahudand

Festival will be celebrated 4 days from August 7 to August 10, 2014

Mingora/Sadu Sharif (Swat Valley) – In Swat Valley annual summer festival / gala has been started in the City of Kalaam and Mahudand Lake. Kalam is located at almost 100 kilometers away from swat district head quarter, Mingora. THe days when Pakistan’s plan area are experiencing hot and humid weather, In Kalam and Mahudand tourists are enjoying cold days and nights.

This festival is being organized by Pakistan army and Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). Swat valley has faced turmoil in 2007 and 2008 under the Taliban influence. This festival is being celebrated from August 7 (Thursday) to August 10 (Sunday) 2014.
