Metro Bus Multan Complete and Final Route Map
Multan (Friday, February 20, 2015) – Punjab Government’s Provincial Development Working Party has approved the fund and plan of metrobus rapid transport system project of the Multan city. This will called corridor-1, While second and third corridors will be implemented after the completion of this phase.
This Metro Bus route will start from the Bahauddin Zakriya University on Bosan Road and will travel to Northern By-pass near Wapda town, Then it will pass in front of Shalimar Colony and Zikriya Town ans will reach at Chungi Number 6 near Gulghash Colony. Then it will pass in fornt of Government Emerson College and Education University Multan Campus. At Chungi # 6. Its first phase will end and 2nd phase will start.
Then it will pass through Tehsil Chowk in front of Usmanabad and Officer Colony. The It will reach at Multan famous roundabout the Chungi Number 9. Then it will travel on Humayun Road and will pass near Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh and reach at Fish Market on Eid Gah Road.
Then its Third package will start and will pass through Daulat gate and will travel on Hafiz Jamal Road. Then it will reach at Manzoor Abad Chowk. It 3rd phase will end at Chungi No. 14 Chowk.
Then its fourth package will start and will cross Mumtaz Abad Railway Cross section. and will reach at B./C.G Chock at Vehari Road. On Vehari Road its fourth phase in conclude.
The its Final and Fifth Package or phase will start and will pass through Vehari Chowk. Then it will pass in front of General Bus Stand (GBS). Then it will Pass through Shah Rukn e Alam Colony and New Multan in front of Jinnah Park and New fruit and Vegetable market (Sabzi Mandi). Then will pass through Mandi Chowk and will end at Jinnah Chowk (Old Kumharaan Wala Chowk or Qaddafi Chowk). Thus its more than 18 Kilometers Route will complete.
It will touch three National Assembly Constituency Areas i.e. NA-149, NA-150 and NA-151. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate its development work soon.
