Chakwal Festival 2016 (March 22-27)
Cjakwal (Monday, March 7, 2016) – In this year Festival of Chakwal will be celebrated and organized in last ten days of the March. This will second Festival. Last year also Chakwal festival was held. This Festival will be organized with the media support of Express Media Group and Express News.
DCO Chakwal District Mehmood Javaid Bhatti has told that this mega family festival will prove to be an milestone for the cultural activities of the Chakwal and Pothohar region. Different event and competitions will be held including oldest man of District Cjakwal, tallest man of the Chakwal District and Most Fatty man of the Chakwal District.
Prizes of Cars and Motor cycle will be given through draw / balloting.
Chaklwal is district, It is part of Rawalpindi Division. Earlier it was part of Jhelum District. The Language spoken here is Punjabi Pothohari dialect. While Sweet like “Rawari” is famous in all over Pakistan.
