Snowfall and Landsliding in Naran Kaghan – 3000 Tourist Stranded
Mansehra (Breaking News / Sunday, October 25, 2015) – There is severe snow falling has occurred in Kaghan Valley. Especially Naran City has received Snowfall from 2 to 3 feet. Snowfall is also continue at Jheel (Lake) Saif ul Malook. All road leading to Lake Saif ul Malokk and Babusar Top. Road leading to Batakundi is also blocked. While landsliding at Baser has occurred.
Advisor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province Ministry of Tourism Mr. Amjad Afridi has told that roads will be oped till today evening.
DCO Mansehra has requested Helicopter from Interior Ministry of Pakistan. Almost 500 Vehicles, Cars and Jeeps are stranded in Snowfall around Naran City.
Tourism association has announced that Tourists will be offered free residence. While Advider KPK Amjad Told that Snow is maximum at the radius of 4-5 Kilometers. Snowfall is still continue in different part of the Kaghan Valley.
