Karachi (Wednesday, March 9, 2016) – Yesterday 22 candidates from various political parties and independents submitted their nomination papers. It was last day for submission of papers. Polling on this National Assembly constituency will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016.
Candidates who submitted nomination papers were :-
Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Deputy Convener Shahid Pasha, Kamal Malik, Nadeem Hashmi and Absar ul Hasan
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)’s Amjad ullah Khan, Riaz Haider, Nazakat Ali and Ahsan Khalil
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s Zafar Siddiqui, Shahid Hussain
All Pakistan Muslim League (APML)’s Nasira Kamran
Jamiat Ulamai Islam (JUIF) Maulana Arshad Nomani
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN)’s Khalid Mumtaz and Zahid Ali Shah
