Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) 46th Foundation Day (1967-2013)
PPP Slogan “Roti Kapra aur Makaan”
Lahore (Saturday, November 30th, 2013) – Pakistan’ s famous political party is celebrating its 46th foundation day today.
PPP was founded by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in Lahore, Others party leaders were also present there.
At the house of Dr. Mubashir Hassan (first secretary general of PPP) foundation of this socialist party was laid down.

The birth of PPP was under very dubious circumstances in 1967, when the then recently resigned Foreign Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto formed Pakistan People’s Party in 1967 against the Government of his mentor Ayub Khan, whom Bhutto used to call his Daddy.
Seeing the weakening government & dwindling economy after the India-Pakistan War in 1965, Bhutto tried to encash the situation. He formed PPP by borrowing Libya’s tricolor flag and raised the slogan of “socialism”.
Pakistan has already bore the brunt of nationalization caused by “socialism” when people used to stand in long queues to purchase eatables and the Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) are still eating away more than Rs 400 billion annually from the taxpayers money.
Since Libya’s Qaddhafi has died & so is socialism dead, *PPP has lost its foundations*. Now anyone from PPP will only be targeting his/her own wealth enhancement.
