PS 106 and PS 117 Karachi By-Election Schedule 2016
Karachi (Tuesday, April 19, 2016) – Pakistan Election Commission has issued by election schedule for June 2, 2016. Filling of nomination papers will be started from April 25 and it will concluded on April 26, 2016. PS-117 seat has been vacated on resignation of MPA Dr. Sagheer Ahmad after Joining Mustafa Kamal Party PSP. While PS-106 Karachi seat has been vacated by MPA Muhammad Iftikhar Alam after Joining Pak SirZameen Party of Syed Mustafa Kamal group.
Polling in both Constituencies will be held June 2, 2016(Thursday). Both MPA were elected member Sindh Assembly in General election 2013 on MQM’s tickets.

It is intersting to watch the result of these elections. Would MQM get as many votes as they got in 2013 election or less.
