Pakistan peoples party member Sharmila Farooqi got engaged with Hasham Riaz Sheikh. The engagement ceremony was held on Sunday, 24th February, 2013 at her own residence located near PTV Station in Karachi near to Liaquat National Hospital & Medical College. PPP leaders, family, relatives and friends all attended this beautiful function. Famous and renowned classical singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was also called in the event to give his superb performance and make the ceremony more exciting.
Sharmila’s fiance Hasham Riaz Sheikh is a son of former Director General Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) Ahmed Riaz Sheikh, a very close friend of President Asif Ali Zardari.
