Sindh Universal Accidental Insurance Scheme Launched
Karachi (Monday, December 5, 2016) – PPP government of Sindh has launched an Universal Accidental Insurance Scheme of one lac rupees (Rs.100000).

About Sindh Insurance Limited?
Wholly owned by Government of Sindh, Sindh Insurance Ltd was incorporated in December,2013 with its registered head office in Karachi. With an authorized and paid up capital of Rs.500 million, all fully paid – up, the company is sponsored by Government of Sindh. Sindh Insurance Limited is registered as non- Life Insurance Company with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan from August, 2014 and has been licensed to transact all classes of non-life insurance business
Geographical Location : Province of Sindh. Claim shall be valid if accidental death takes place on account of accident occurring within the geographical boundaries of the province of Sindh.
Inception Date : October 1, 2016.
Sum Insured : Rs. 100,000/- per accidental death. (Claim Amount)
(‘Accidental Death’):
- Terrorism (Target Killing, Bomb blast, Firing);
- Collapse of Building or falling from height;
- Drowning;
- Road or Rail or Aircraft Accident;
- Snake Bite or attack by wild animals;
- Burning by Acid, Electric current or Fire;
- Electric Shock;
- Stampede;
- Floods;
- Hurricanes;
- Riot and Civil Commotion;
- Industrial accident or mining accident;
- Murder by violent or external means;
- Toxication or poisoning caused by gas fumes or other poisonous gases.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED :
- Claim Form;
- First/last Attending doctor certificate(if available);
- First Information Report (FIR) or Roznamcha or police diary;
- Death Certificate by NADRA of deceased;
- CNIC Block Report by NADRA of deceased;
- Discharge Voucher , properly signed by beneficiary, also mentioning bank account number, bank name and verified by relevant bank manager;
- All forms will be available at Company website/Designated Sindh Bank/ Designated Sindh Insurance Branch/ Sindh Insurance Project Office or designated branches of any other business partner or claim administrator of Sindh Insurance.
