Today 1st match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019 will be played between fifth ranked Multan Sultans and 3rd place Peshawar Zalmi at Sharjah, match will start on 04:30 PM. Both teams played four matches so far while Multan win only one match and Peshawar got four points.
Islamabad coming into this match after winning match against Peshawar. While bat first, Islamabad were 49-3 at one stage before Ian Bell and Cameron Delport put on 56 runs which helped the side post a competitive total of 158-9 in 20 overs.
Meanwhile chasing target of 159-run, Peshawar were reeling at 65-5 at one stage. Kieron Pollard and Darren Sammy steadied the side with their 55-run partnership.
They ended as Pollard departed after scoring 51 runs. Mohammad Sami bagged a hat-trick in the last over of the game to secure a 12-run victory for his side.
In their last match Lahore Qalanders defeated Multan Sultans by six wickets with a record score of 204/4 with the help of the striking partnership by Qalanders captian AB de Villiers and David Wiese in the tenth match of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) fourth edition in Sharjah on Friday.
