Warid Telecom has introduced interesting caller tune service, Warid Name Tune which actually sets a film star’s dialogue as your caller tune/ringtone, with your name also included in that dialogue.
All Warid users can use this service by dialing the short code 5151. At IVR, they are asked to choose among the categories of caller tune and ring tones. After choosing their desired category, customer is taken to a menu of audio templates. After selecting a template or sample dialogue, user would be asked to send their name via SMS on 5152.
In case of caller tunes, a message would be sent to the Warid customers that there desired caller tune has been set. If you have chosen for a ringtone, then you would be sent the link to download the ringtone via Wi-Fi or GPRS facility.
Charges are just like those of Mobile Ringtone and caller tunes. You are going to be charged Rs. 0.30 + tax/minute for IVR at 5151. For downloading ringtone, you have to pay Rs. 5+tax for each ringtone that you download.
