SC refused to pass Stay Order Against Lahore High Court Judgement
Islamabad (Monday, September 26, 2016) – Today proceeding of appeal of Punjab Government against the Lahore High Court (LHC) regarding orange line metro train project Lahore. This Mega development scheme will connect Ali Town Multan Road to Dera Gujraan on Lahore Ring road in the east.
Supreme Court Setup 5 members larger bench
Chief Justice Supreme Court Mr. Zaheer Anwar Jamali heard the appeal. He ordered to setup an five members larger bench. This bench will start proceedings on October 10, 2016. During hearing today, Advocate of Punjab Govt. told that lot of time and money wasted due to LHC decision. He requested stay order.

About Lahore Metro Train Project
Lahore Metro Train Will be 27 Kilometers long. It will pass through Chauburji, Mall Raod, Lakshami Chowk, UET GT Lahore and others key locations of Lahore city.
